Happy New year & Cats!

scutterOk, so one of my resolutions was to get back to blogging more - it's only the 12th, I'm not that late haha
Crimbo was good, despite having a terrible cold which came down with a fury on Boxing Day and hadn't quite let up by New year's Eve, but I still went out :) and had fun!
But the best thing that has happened this year is that I have new fluffy-bum fur-babies! and I am so happy. I can't describe to you how amazing it makes me feel to have a cat follow you round the house, or squeak to get your attention ( neither of them mew properly), or flop down on the floor at your feet for belly-rubs, or clamber around on your lap and stick their bum in your face, or climb over the keyboard while you're on the computer - I have missed this so so so much!
They're both so adorable, and the prettiest pair ever. They bonded with me immediately, taking a little longer with Jack (by a little longer I mean no more than an hour)and they have to keep checking where we are when they're investigating round the house - running back every 10 minutes to squeak about some new discovery and then off again - they're so funny!
I am now going to spam you with piccies haha
or I would if I could work out how to post pics *grr*
hmm, would a link to Fb work me wonders? since DW doesn't have pic-hosting facilities of its own and I can't be arsed to rediscover my PB accounts, or Flickr come to that *sighs*

Date: 2013-01-12 04:40 pm (UTC)(so yes, link to FB worked! *grin*) After LJ started coming down with a bad case of DDOS every few months, taking their pic-hosting away with it, I actually caved and got myself a Tumblr account, just for putting pics on. Once DW gets more of pic hosting going (I think one can upload pics via email now, and they're working on getting it useable via Internet interface too), I might use that instead... (If I haven't become addicted to Tumblr by then, of course ;) )
Glad to hear your cold has passed. Seems like quite a few ppl came down with some bug or another over the holidays. :(

Date: 2013-01-20 12:19 pm (UTC)I actually have (had - it's been a while) 3 photobucket accounts, and 2 Tumblrs but I don't use any of them anymore - got so annoyed with tumblr haha - maybe I should try and work out my passwords - probably versions of the couple I use elsewhere anyway ;)
